14 questions you can ask yourself to really achieve the desired result

How do you, as a coach, ensure that you achieve your business goals? What questions can you ask yourself to take your coaching business to the next level? And how do you avoid falling back into your old patterns?

We have sorted it out for you. In this blog I will introduce you to a unique sequence of 14 questions that will make it easier for you to achieve your goals or future outcomes. 14 questions to really achieve the desired result.

NLP

Some of you know that I have been teaching NLP training for many years. A wonderful method that once captivated me with: “the teaching of excellent behavior.” For me it's a way to find out what successful people do, so I can teach myself and others.

It's cool if you can 'hack' your personal growth or results, so that you can achieve faster and better results in practice. That you can avoid the mistakes of other coaches or successful people. Ideal, right?

Suppose you specifically want to get better at sales for your business. Then you can approach a successful salesperson and investigate what exactly he does that makes him successful. Or if you want to improve yourself as a coach, you can talk to other coaches and find out what steps they take to be successful.

I find this a very interesting fact. This is also Tim Ferris's working method. In his book 'Fit, rich and smart' he interviewed more than a hundred people about their 'life hacks.' This book has been very valuable and inspiring to me. In practice, it has led, among other things, to the start of intermittent fasting.

What then is the moral of the story? If you notice that you are not very good at something yet... You can really learn it.

Method

Richard Bandler and John Grinder, the founders of NLP, interviewed many people to find out exactly what they do. And what did they find out? Successful people do a number of things internally to achieve a certain desired result in the future. One of those things is answering and experiencing the questions below.

Take the time to make these questions alive in your internal world. Make it sensory. See what you see, hear what you hear and feel what you feel. Your brain has done it this way before. Do this every month. This way you continuously feed your subconscious with your desired result.

14 questions to better achieve your goals as a coach

  1. What exactly do you want to achieve?
  2. Where are you now, in relation to your dream?
  3. What do you hear, see, feel, smell, taste and what do you say to yourself when you have achieved your dream? What would it be like if you achieved it now? Act as if you have already made it to this point.
  4. How do you know when you've achieved it?
  5. What will this outcome do for you? Or allow you to do?
  6. Is it just for yourself?
  7. Where, when, how and with whom do you want to achieve it?
  8. What do you already have and what do you still need to realize your dream? When have you ever had this before? Who do you know who has had or done this? What happens to you if you act as if you have already achieved it?
  9. With what intention do you want to realize this dream? How does it make you feel better when you've achieved it?
  10. What will happen if you get it?
  11. What will happen if you don't get it?
  12. What won't happen if you get it?
  13. What won't happen if you don't get it?
